Meet our Founders
Based in Perth WA, founders Andrew Kozman and Sandeep Buttar bring over ten years of expertise as seasoned emergency clinicians. Their careers have spanned various roles, from junior medical officers to consultants, enriched by numerous locum assignments across metropolitan Perth and regional Western Australia.
Andrew Kozman
DIRECTOR
Andrew is a seasoned emergency clinician and clinical toxicologist with more than a decade of experience, currently working at one the largest emergency departments in Australia. Trained in Western Australia, he has been employed at all the major hospitals within Metro Perth and in the rural regions. He has extensive experience in the locum scene, having spent a large time of doing locum work and still currently does.
Andrew with his colleague Sandeep founded EMLOCUMS to bridge the gap between clinician and hospital by addressing the unnecessary hassle that often underpins locum work. He is active in the training and development of other doctors, including ACEM trainees and recommends them to undertake regional.
Sandeep Buttar
DIRECTOR
Sandeep is an emergency physician that works in a busy tertiary emergency department and locums across regional WA. He completed his medical degree at the University of Western Australia and his emergency medicine training in Western Australia and the Northern Territory.
Throughout his training Sandeep has worked many locum roles across regional WA. He enjoys rural emergency medicine and sharing his experiences living in beautiful Western Australia.
